Keely Kane, LPN
Nurse
An LPN since 2004, Keely began her nursing career in California and gradually made her way back home to Maine. Along the way, her path has taken her through a wide range of experiences and settings.
She started out as a psychiatric intensive care nurse at the VA in San Francisco, where she provided acute medical and mental health care and led Art Therapy groups for inpatient residents. After returning to Maine, Keely continued her work in nursing across various roles. She has worked in Long Term Care and Residential settings as both a charge nurse and a nurse manager. She has also gained experience in Inpatient and Outpatient detox facilities for polysubstance and alcohol use, as well as in home health, where she focused on both patient care and care management.
Through all of these experiences, one truth has remained clear: the deep connection between the body and the mind transcends age, gender, and social status. A healthy mind supports a healthy body, and when both are nurtured, the strength and resilience that emerge are undeniable.
Keely is excited to continue her journey at Foundation House, where the program is collaborative, innovative, and seamlessly cohesive—creating a nurturing and supportive environment where clients can heal, learn, and grow.
When she’s not working, Keely enjoys spending time with her three daughters and their puppy, going on outdoor adventures, paddleboarding, and teaching Vinyasa, Trauma-Informed, and Chair Yoga at a local studio.
