Max Rogers
Program & Operations Facilitator – Athletics & Fitness
Max, a native of Sudbury, Massachusetts, grew up in a home grounded in hard work, humility, and authenticity. During his college years, he experienced a difficult chapter marked by struggles with substance use. Choosing to seek help was a pivotal moment that led him to Foundation House and ultimately to a new way of living.
As an alumnus of Foundation House, Max knows firsthand the impact the community can have. When he first arrived, he felt lost despite being in familiar New England territory. However, through meaningful connections, vulnerable conversations, and the rediscovery of his own curiosity and humor, Max began to rebuild. He also turned to fitness as a way to develop structure and discipline—tools that remain essential in his life today. His background in customer service, including time as a barista, strengthened his ability to connect with people, stay patient under pressure, and be part of a team.
Now a proud member of the Foundation House staff and a student at the University of Southern Maine, Max is committed to giving back. He brings empathy and lived experience to his role, helping others rediscover what they may have lost along the way.
