Natalya Sorlien, LMFT, PhDc

Natalya is a psychotherapist licensed in the states of Maine, North Carolina, and Virginia. She has been providing treatment to individuals and families for nearly a decade across a variety of settings. Natalya approaches treatment collaboratively, through a trauma-informed lens and with the use of evidence-based practices.

Natalya is a Clinical Supervisor, supervising social workers and professional counselors, and is conditionally approved to supervise marriage and family therapy clinicians as well. She has been a member of AAMFT since 2014.

Natalya holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, a journey that began at Antioch University Seattle and was completed at NCU. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Washington University, with concentrated minors in substance recovery and neuroscience. Natalya is currently a doctoral candidate (PhD-c), having completed all requirements except her dissertation, which focuses on attachment and sleep.

Natalya has specialty training in Brainspotting, communication, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

In the wild, if not found walking her dog, Natalya can be found playing her favorite RPG video games or engaging with a smorgasbord of random hobbies.
