Rob Bollman

Operations Facilitator

A man with a mustache and checkered shirt smiles at the camera.

A lifelong New Englander, Rob grew up in Danbury, CT.  His early interests included fine arts, music and theater.  Rob’s professional career in Territory Sales and Operations Management allowed him to reside in Maine, Massachusetts and New Jersey.  A Son of the Revolution, Rob proudly served for 8 years in the US Army Reserve / 619th Transportation Company in Auburn, ME.

Rob’s path to Foundation House sprang from his decades long struggle with alcoholism.  Like so many others afflicted, Rob tried-and-failed for many years to manage his drinking and maintain a productive, meaningful life.  On a cold winter morning in early 2023, sitting alone at a detoxification unit dining table, Rob forged a bitter peace with his malady; at long last succumbing to the fact his life had truly been unmanageable.  In 2024, Rob made a professional course correction to work in the field of recovery.  His hope is to give back to a community that pulled him from the depths of alcoholism.

When Rob is not at work, he enjoys reading and spending time with his two sons, Wes and Sam.  A bonafide pizza fanatic, Rob also enjoys city travel in a lifelong quest for the perfect slice.  Rob’s love of music has not diminished from his childhood and is an avid concert goer.
