Travis Anderson, LMSW-CC
Primary Therapist
Originally from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Travis found his way into the field of recovery six years ago in Flagstaff, Arizona, and what began as a job quickly turned into a calling.
Over the years, he’s worked in roles ranging from behavioral health technician to program director, and along the way earned his Master of Social Work from Northern Arizona University. He holds an LMSW-CC and is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and group facilitation, with deep experience in 12-step-based approaches.
Travis was drawn to Foundation House for its long-term model and adventure-based approach—values that mirror his own approach to healing and growth. He believes recovery is a journey best supported by community, honesty, and connection to something greater.
When he’s not working with residents, Travis is usually walking in the woods with his dogs, playing guitar, or out adventuring with his wife. After several years out west, he’s grateful to be back in New England, close to family, and once again surrounded by the forests and mountains that shaped him.
