Born and raised in Boston, Elizabeth moved to Portland in search of a strong recovery community. Elizabeth is a graduate of Babson College and has extensive experience working in both the business and healthcare sectors. Having struggled with alcohol and substance abuse and many failed attempts at treatment, Elizabeth credits her continued sobriety to the extended living program she enrolled in upon moving to Maine. Prior to joining Foundation House in 2021 as a CRMA, Elizabeth worked in the field of mental health and crisis intervention. Elizabeth believes that one of the greatest gifts of working at Foundation House is seeing individuals come into the program and begin to blossom and thrive. Years later, it’s the residents that continue to inspire Elizabeth. When not at Foundation House, Elizabeth spends her time with the “light of her life”, her senior pug, George.
