Cameron grew up in Wilton, Conn., and battled addiction for many years. He was about to give up the fight and arrived at Foundation House as a last-ditch effort. Cam jumped right into the Foxhole, which he credits with saving his life, becoming house manager at the Mellen Street residence after a few months and interning in carpentry.
With the skills he learned working with the Facilities Construction Team, Cam was hired as a full-time employee and has become a great asset to the Foundation house family. He is a prime example of how Portland, Maine, and the Foxhole can turn around a person’s life if they are committed to the effort.
